Bachata

Originating in the Dominican Republic, bachata is a slow four-count dance that often carries a romantic theme.

Salsa

Socially, salsa originated in the heart of New York developed from Cuban and Puerto Rican roots. The most difficult of the three to learn, it is a fun and fast paced three-count dance.

Merengue

Also Dominican, merengue is a two-count step that can be very fast. It is perfect for beginners to learn and is more lighthearted than bachata.
